Systems Design

As systems design practitioners, we support our clients in transforming complex systems to become more socially equitable, resilient and regenerative. Building on systems analysis, we identify leverage points and co-create interventions that have the potential to enable transformative change. Recognising that systemic change arises from multiple, interconnected actions rather than isolated efforts, we design leverage pathways - strategic combinations of leverage points - that work together to shift structures, rules and mental models - creating the conditions for long-term systemic impact. Our approach is participatory, engaging diverse stakeholders to enrich the design process.

Throughout this process, we draw especially on Donella Meadows’ “Leverage Points: Places to Intervene in a System” and the Omidyar Group’s Systems Practice.

Many of the systems projects we develop are confidential, but we are excited to share a few examples below.
